Service Description

This course is designed for Complete Beginners ! In this class we will explore the fundamentals of drawing - from rough to good sketches and how to use our sketches to develop finished drawings. We will explore different drawing media (artist pencils, charcoal, conte, professional erasers and blending tools) and learn about composition and developing 3 dimensional form through shading techniques. This class would also be helpful for anyone with previous drawing experience who may have been away from it for awhile and needs a refresher ( or you could join the Level II class) ! Some supplies are included to use in class. Students bring their own sketchbook. PLEASE NOTE: Students MUST have a minimum of 1 hour per week to complete the required homework between classes. You will NOT learn how to draw without doing the HOMEWORK and have it completed when you come to each class! No exceptions and no refunds due to missed classes or incomplete homework. Students will NOT learn to draw/sketch at the end of 8 weeks WITHOUT this commitment to completing their homework!
