 We offer classes to the creatively curious from age 16 and up. No experience is required or any special skills, just bring  your curiosity and desire to have fun and learn. We provide all your  weekly class supplies ( workshops may have a supply list) .There's always something exciting happening at the studio - weekly classes and One Day Art Workshops, as well as special events, Art shows  in our in-studio art gallery  with guest artists and student art shows and Art Pop-Ups at other locations. And don't forget our annual Art, Culture & Culinary Tours to Italy. Check the studio Instagram or Facebook page for updates .

 We offer weekly classes, One Day Weekend Workshops, Summer Workshops and private studio sessions. Full details are below.

Materials are included in the courses & workshops except where noted in the Course Description.
Class sizes vary, to avoid disappointment, participants are encouraged to register sooner rather than later.

The Course Deposit secures you a spot in the class, and the balance of the Course Fees are paid when you attend the 1st class or workshop. Payments accepted are: cash, credit cards, cheques, and e-transfers. 

Private Studio Sessions, Private Paint Night Parties & Space/studio Rental are arranged directly with Penny by email or phone.

Gift Certificates are available and make a great gift & they can be applied to any course or workshop.
 

 Our Weekly Watercolor Classes have 3 levels:

Water Color 1.0 - Beginner Level
This is watercolor for Complete Beginners, and in this 8 weeks class
( available in a day or evening class), you'll learn everything about the medium, including how to create a painting from start to finish, color mixing, everything you need to know about the materials and how to fix mistakes, so basically everything to get you started painting in watercolor! If you have never painted in water color before, this is the course to take.

Water Color 1.5  - Intermediate Level
 This is the class for you if you've taken the Water Color 1.0 ( Beginners) course and want to continue to maintain your momentum, progress, and practice and to gain more confidence and technique. Or, maybe you've been painting on your own, or have taken a class or two along the way and  want to return to painting after being away from it for awhile, then this would be a good place to start. Or maybe you just  find yourself uninspired, confused and a little rusty or perhaps you just want to paint in the company of others?
Water Color 2.O - Advanced Level
This level is for painters who have taken the Watercolor 1.0 course  or the 1.5 course and are very comfortable in the medium but want  to challenge themselves  to learn advanced color and painting techniques - such as brush work, textures, contrast and balance, painting larger scale  art, or how to compose  unique compositions or paint from their own photographs to create original paintings that explores many themes/subjects.

*** NOTE: Our weekend  Watercolor workshops are open to ALL LEVELS,
      no experience is required


 

Workshops, Classes and Special Events;

Private Studio Sessions & Studio Space Rental

Are you applying to art school or a university program? Do you feel you need some help to get your portfolio in tip-top shape? Are you an artist who wants someone to critique your work in a supportive but focused manner?

 

Maybe you are someone who prefers to schedule one on one instruction that fits your schedule rather than join a group class? Individual studio time can be booked during the day, evening or on weekends.

 

Sessions are $75 per hour - Contact Penny for current availability.

Studio Space Rental:

​

 Looking for a colorful, creative space to hold a small group event or meeting? The studio can accommodate 8  people. NO SUPPLIES included. Bathroom  access ,parking, convenient location.

  Contact Penny for availability.

Half Day Rates ( 3 hrs) = $125 Full day Rate ( 10 - 4 pm) $ 250

Deposit of $ 75 required. Non Refundable if cancelled  with less than 10 days notice.
