Art, Culture & Culinary Tours To Florence
Come experience la dolce vita ( the sweet life) with me in Italy. I create a very special boutique /small group experience for 6 participants per tour. We are travelers, not tourists - which is why my tours are scheduled in the slow season ( Fall/Winter). Let's avoid the heat and the 16 million tourists who visit Florence each year. The slow season lets us mingle with the locals at the market, piazza and coffee bar; enjoy quiet restaurants/shops/museums and really feel the culture and way of life that the tourist never see. Travel with someone who has lived and studied in Florence and who's ancestors and family roots are Italian. We'll take private art classes from some of my friends ( local artists ) , an Italian cooking class, visit a former Medici vineyard for a wine tasting, and some iconic galleries/museums/historic sites. I'll teach you about Italian life, customs, food, and the story of this remarkable jewel we call Firenze, one tiny cobblestone street at a time. You don't have to be an artist to come on this tour - just have an interest in history, Italian food/culture and the Renaissance. Participants are provided with a list of additional excursions above and beyond our itinerary or you can op-out and relax at our amazing accommodations or grab a drink at the local bar, or go shopping.

When dates for tours are finalized, those people on my Contact List are provided with an opportunity to attend an Information Session( with full details/itinerary and costs ) and will be given a Deposit Deadline. Your Deposit secures your spot on the tour and while it is NON REFUNDABLE, it can be transferred to someone else in the event that you have a health crisis/emergency/death in the family. NOTE: Flights, travel/medical insurance, meals other than breakfast, alcohol, art supplies and ground transportation are not included.
