Service Description

In this one-day, Saturday workshop, learn to make simple, yet beautiful handmade book structures to create your own journals, notebooks, stationery or give as gifts. You will make 3 small books: a pamphlet book, a concertina book and a notebook with Stab-binding or Japanese stitching. We'll learn how to use natural ( items found in nature), recycled and everyday packaging materials to explore book making and create books that are unique and interesting. The instructor studied traditional bookmaking in Florence and has created over 50 handmade books, from traditional hardbound books to artist books. All supplies included.
